Sarah is the developer of Loved Baby, writer, former teacher, and Ph.D. She lives in Tennessee on a sprawling cattle farm where she raises her two mischievous children (with one on the way) and is farm wife to her high school sweetheart. A former teacher, she now spends her days cleaning peanut butter & jelly off the counter, dreaming of traveling the world, hosting “get-togethers” for her family & friends, and chasing her kids around the farm. Sarah is represented by The Blythe Daniel Literary Agency . You can visit with Sarah at All-American Mom where she writes about pregnancy loss, life on the farm, and cultivating a life of down-home simplicity. Psalm 46:10 “Be Still & Know that I Am God.”
Lynda lives in Indiana where she is a part-time substitute teacher, volunteer at an elementary school, and developer of Fervent Hope-a local resources and support to women and families who have endured the loss of a baby through miscarriage, pregnancy loss, stillbirth, or infant death. Lynda has three children born in heaven through miscarriage. Each loss defines separate chapters of spiritual growth in her life. Trying to conceive for four years with complications through endometriosis, she prayed daily through her two miscarriages in 2008. At age 40 she was given the gift of a rainbow baby, yet struggled with the reality of only having one child. In 2014 at age 44 she embraced a surprise pregnancy only to lose that baby to miscarriage also. She had to overcome the anger and bitterness that came with this chapter by living in God’s understanding and not her own. The verses she used to move forward into healing are Psalm 55:22 “Cast your cares upon the Lord for He will sustain you” and Proverbs 3:5-6 “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will make your path straight.”
